Fundraising Ideas for Premeds

Here are some fundraising ideas that premeds have done in the past. Contact the premed trustee if you want to add an idea to this list!

• Food sales (either home-baked, bought or through a company)
• Community banquet dinner with entertainment/music/talent etc
• T-shirt sales
• Book sales/ book auctions
• MCAT course prep auctions
• Car wash (yes…they still do happen!)
• 5K/10K races (in partner with another group)

Other things that your AMSA premed chapter can do on campus:

• Voting drives/voter registration
• Blood drives
• Medical school mentorship programs
• National speaker opportunities from the national student leaders
• Community Garden
• Pair up with campus Student Health Services and produce health awareness magnets/have a booth at a fair to educate college students
• Holiday party for local homeless shelters, children's hospital (sugar free candy for diabetic children)
• Area specific "out-of-town" brochure with emergency numbers and directions to health clinics
• Homeless shelter directory
