Healthy HospitalsAMSA's Healthy Foods in Hospitals Campaign seeks to encourage hospitals to promote health in their communites by not allowing unhealthy fast food to be served on their campuses. Healthy People 2010 Leading Health IndicatorsHealthy People 2010 challenges individuals, communities, and professionals to take specific steps to ensure that good health, as well as long life, are enjoyed by all. It is a statement of national health objectives designed to identify the most significant preventable threats to health and to establish national goals to reduce these threats. Healthy People 2010 is managed by the Office of Disease Prevention and Health Promotion under the U.S. Dept. of Health and Human Services.
